ABOUT DAVID PITCHER
David Pitcher is the founder of Everyday Gun Owner and a certified USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Instructor with more than 30 years of firearms experience. He’s spent that time as an educator and advocate for responsible gun ownership — not from behind a desk, but in the field, in uniform, and in real life.
A former Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, David served for 12 years and completed two overseas deployments in Afghanistan and Qatar. When he came home, he faced the same challenge most veterans do — how to translate real-world readiness into everyday civilian life without the tactical gear, the unit support, or the military structure.
