30 Years of Firearms Experience—Straight Talk, No BS

M16 rifle qualifications

Blessed be the LORD, my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers
for battle. (Psalm 144:1)

For over 30 years, I've lived and breathed firearms, not as a collector, but as a practical tool for defense. My 12 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, including deployments to Afghanistan and Qatar, forged a deep understanding of firearms under pressure.

While my role was a computer specialist, my focus was always "Soldier first." This meant mastering the M16 and M4, and helping fellow soldiers become proficient. I know what it takes to perform under stress.

Now, I'm bringing that experience to you. If you're serious about personal and home defense, you need reliable information, not hype. I cut through the noise to provide clear, actionable advice on firearms, gear, and training tailored for real-world defense scenarios.

Whether you're a new gun owner seeking home defense solutions or looking to sharpen your skills, I'm here to help you become a confident and responsible defender. Let's get to work.

My goal with Everyday Gun Owner is to cut through the noise and give you straightforward, no-BS guidance on firearms, gear, and training.

If you're new to firearms, own a gun but want to understand it better, or just need help figuring out what works best for you—you're in the right place. I’m here to demystify the process, share real-world experience, and help you become a confident, responsible gun owner.

Welcome to Everyday Gun Owner—let’s get started!
